This powerful philosophy underpins the work of Gyles Morris, a specialist consultant with over 25 years of experience in Primary Geography, History, and Outdoor Learning across the curriculum. Gyles works with individual schools and teacher groups both in the UK and internationally, supporting them in developing rigorous, progressive, and outcome-driven curricula that raise the quality of teaching and learning.

He is a guest lecturer at the UCL Institute of Education and the Royal Geographical Society, and contributes to teacher training programmes including SCITT, Teach First, and EYFS. Gyles has also collaborated with Oviedo University in Spain, IAPS, AQA, and is an approved provider for the Global Learning Programme – Wales.

As founder and Director of Naturesbase, an environmental education centre, Gyles combines his deep subject knowledge with hands-on experience—truly someone who ‘walks the talk’.

At the heart of his work is a key question-led, enquiry-based approach that not only builds essential subject knowledge but also gives pupils the time and space to master skills through meaningful, focused learning—embracing the principle of doing less, better.
